Hello everybody,

Can anyone explain to me why when I click RESET on the SRT signal, the software freezes to the point of not responding to any commands? It seems to be running in the background, but the interface part of the program freezes and no longer has any response with the mouse or keyboard.

I've done the test with several types of machines, in different configurations and all happen the same thing, being desktop or notebook.

If anyone has any ideas what might be going on or any tips on how to resolve this, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Looking at the comments, more people are having problems with the software crashing because of the SRT it seems.

In this case, the "RESET" function button would not be useful, as it is causing a lot of problems.

The best approach is to add a hardware SRT decoder before vMix, then go from the decoder to vMix via SDI.

This is a old school approach, but due to stability issues with both SRT and NDI in vMix (like the one reported here) this is the best way to go.
