Multi-button Dynamic Shortcuts?

Currently I am setting up a X-Keys control surface and I'm trying to work with dynamic short cuts.
The goal would be to have 4 overlay keys (Assigned to dynamic 1-4). The action I would want would be to hit one of the overlay keys and then press an input button that would be assigned to that overlay key.
The purpose here would be to have a single button for each input that could assign that said input to overlay 1-4 without having to have 4 buttons (1 for each overlay) under each input.
Is this currently a possible function in vMix using dynamic inputs or scripting, or is this just another idea to go under feature request?

Sure is possible. Quesion is how are you going to select one of the 1-4 . Need a way to assign/change the intended dynamic input value. Based on what?
