So I wanted to figure out how to add a pause recording shortcut on my Loupedeck and realized you have no pause recording feature anywhere in the software itself... I also found a topic forum making this same request.... IN 2014!
This incredibly basic function has been built into other software like OBS and Streamlabs for as long as I can remember. I don't understand why this basic feature is one vMix users have been waiting on for at least a decade without any sign that we are any closer to having this request met.

vMix Team: Is there a specific reason that you guys either cannot or will not integrate such a feature with your otherwise incredible software. Is this a feature you guys could, at least, commit to have a dev team begin working on?

For vMix users: has anyone managed to come up with some kind of workaround that will make the software behave as though it had paused recording sessions through some clever trick, or a useful macro or some integrated hardware inputs (like a MIDI controller or deck or whatever?)
