Hello,
I and my friend since one year are broadcasting football matches from lower division using vmix and one camera. It is free broadcast without commentatory.
We have nice graphics, replays and vmix controller so everything looks better than we thought at the begging. But still we want more ...;)
We do not have more people to help us. But viewers often are writing that it will be better with comentatories. We think we can do it but one of us is camera operator, and second is using vmix on laptop. Our main question it that if it is even possible?
I write down what equipment we are using write now:
Laptop (3 usb outputs: 1 - mouse, 2 - camera connected via elgato hd60s, 3 - empty) + hdmi (connected to divider and then 3 tvs for such room for vip) + usb c output to one more monitor for vmix.
We stream it to Facebook or YT, or ppv website.
I have also usb divider but i do not need now to use it.
I have two headphones with microphone but on usb but i think i need a mixer for audio?
I do not know how to mix audio from camera and two headphones and how to connect this headhones to laptop and vmix to be good. It is possible to hear by us (commentators) each other what we are talking about? And it is possible that camera does not pick up our sounds. Maybe directional microphone for the pitch?

Yes it is possible. Experiment with connecting both USB headsets to your laptop. I tried it with my Sennheiser USB headsets, and both show up as Audio Input choices. You said you have 3 USB ports. Is one USB 2.0? You can use a USB 2.0 since audio won't take up as much bandwidth and save USB 3.0 for video capture.
It could be to your advantage to have a separate external USB mixer. However you would have to get microphones (XLR connection) that would work with it. Something to perhaps consider in the future if your don't have the money right now.
You can configure vMix not to have an audio feed from your camera if you are worried about it picking up the commentary. Or simply turn it off in the Input by clicking the Audio rectangle.
You can also configure the mics so you two hear each other without a delay loop from your own mic.
Get the two commentator mics working first, that what your viewers have requested. Worry about having a directional mic for the pitch after that.
