Planning a monthly streaming meeting, including 6 remote presenters over vMIX call. Adding 2 machines for Powerpoint and video playback, then streaming everything to Zoom. Is it possible to handle all the audio on a separate machine / location? The separate machine running its own vMIX license, of course.

while you could definitely manage audio on a separate computer...why? mixing elsewhere complicates several aspects, including the mix-minus between vMix callers. I've been running the scenario you describe (with 8 vmix calls even) all on one machine for a few years now with no issues technically or operationally.

@AudioGreg the video team will be in one location and audio potentially on a different address if at all possible. It's a 1-hr recurring monthly meeting and travel would not be efficient cost-wise. Remote access to the main machine is also a possibility. Can you elaborate on the issues I'd run into with the mix minuses?

the mix minus between vmix calls automatically happens on the computer hosting the calls. if you are moving the audio elsewhere to mix, it's usually required to do the mix minus manually. there is also the latency of moving the audio elsewhere to mix, which may likely affect your lip-sync. IMO just easier to keep it all on the host machine.
