Looking to migrate to vMix so I have some possibly noob questions.

According to the knowledge base NVidia GPUs have a 3 encodes per machine limit:

https://www.vmix.com/kno...ing-with-nvidia-graphics

The article references 1080Ti and Quadro which have both discontinued. Does anyone know if it is still the case for 4000 series cards?

For example if I want to livestream, record output and ISO record 5 sources (4k60) could I do it with a 4080 or do I need something like an a5000?

Thank you!

Whilst there is a limit on hardware (GPU) encodes on GeForce cards, your 6-channel example could potentially be achieved via 3 hardware (GPU) encodes and 3 software (CPU) encodes. A Quadro card like the a5000 would allow all 6 to be in encoded in hardware, and there's also a (unsupported) hack out there which allows more hardware encodes on GeForce cards.
