This is comming from real life tests of the new audio system these days.

While the "Solo" feature is brilliant and extremly helpful,

it is the source for frustration and huge mistakes.

In real world is more then likely to forget you (or other person) used the "Solo" button for an input.
Even more of a problem if that input was collapsed after the "Solo" button was selected.

At that point you are not aware that what you hear is other thing then the Master ( even if you have the Master level display).

I strongly suggest to implement a kind of flag to show when at least one Solo button is pushed so the user will be alawys aware that what is in the Headphones is not same thing as the Master (what the audience hear)

That should be a visible thing maybe like the "EXT" "REC" ones but near the main Master level display.

Thank you very much,

Putting a SOLO icon like EXT or RECT is probably the best solution, perhaps orange instead of red, just have to find a way to fit it in...
thanks 1 user thanked admin for this useful post.

Maybe this can be close to a solution :)

(I made this image for the other feature request regarding signaling the bad sound level. )

Oh.. And some more. .

Probably, if we click on that Solo flag will deactivate all the solo buttons as at that moment ( when we forgot if any solo is selected) we need to deselect them all without finding trough the modules which one is selected ...

While we are here discussing about that flag-button for "Swich off all Solo" we'll happily use a shortcut for that, too .

A shortcut just for Solo just like the "OverlayInputAllOff" ..

Thank you very much,
