Hi,

I would like to see some improvements when it comes to the chat functionality using vMixCall:

  1. First of all, implementation of some kind of "Raise your hand" function from the caller. If you for example have a debate in the studio and have 8 remote panel guests via vMixCall, it would have been great to have this function to get quick attention if someone wants the word. And not just with a text message in the Call Manager window as this is quite difficult to notice and interpret. I rather want some clear visual indication somewhere where it makes sense in the UI and why not a short sound alert "ding" in your headphones? Another suggestion could be some indicator in the input window. If all that are too complicated, it could be good enough to implement some kind of large icon above the boxes in the top of the Call Manager window.

  2. Talking about the Call Manager: After a while this window gets rather messy and hard to read with all information. As this is a mix of connection information and the chat, it's hard to follow just the chat itself. I therefore suggest that the chat could be separated in some way from the "technical information". Could be two separate views, but why not implement a text field underneath each "caller box" in the Call Manager window where the respective incoming messages from the callers appear? Then it's clear who is saying what. Messages from the host (vMix) could be in a separate column.

  3. As it's (probably) hard for vMix to control whether the chat window for the caller(s) should be opened in their browser or not, it would be great if some kind of overlay icon or text could be applied over the video feed to get the caller(s) attention if a message is being sent from the host. If the comment field is not opened, messages from the host will not be brought to the caller's attention as it is today.

Thx!
/Peter
