Hi,
We have an extensive library of animated HTML in use as overlay graphics and would like to enable the use of it in vMix.
Therefore I'd like to know if there are any ways for us to alter javascript variables and eexcute functions in the vMix browser renderer? Preferably via the webApi. This would be very powerful.
Best regards Christoffer Ainek

I was browsing the forum and I found this unanswered topic.
The way I do this is by controlling the HTML template via websocket, using an external app to animate in, update and animate out the template. I don't know if you can do it in a different way in vMix. In CasparCG (you guys created it!), for instance, you can send TCP commands to control the template. VMix acts as a regular web browser, so using websockets is straight forward, you only need to know how to do it and spend some time building the control software.
