Hi!
Back with more greenhorn questions.
So I am working on creating an off tube commenting station running vmix.
Input will be either a webrowser running a webpage with a tv-player or a stream input fetching tcp or srt streams.

To set up instant replay to record a browser or stream input as source I need to assign the input number (atm input number 1) to output 2 (output 1 is the production mix), since replay seems to only record cameras or outputs (not an input directly) if I understood right.

This seems to work fine when testing the test setup.

The challenge is this: the input url or stream-adress can differ between a couple of fixed pages or adresses for the various productions.
If I set up inputs for each browser or tcp-adress I have to move them around to get the right input on position number 1. Or enter settings to change output2 to the right input.

This makes it easy to make mistakes.

So what I would like to have is a list of preset urls in the one and only browser input and a list of tcp-adresses/ports on the one and only stream input, so that the user can chose easily from that list when preparing a production. This in a similar way as the presets works on the titles. Is this possible to achieve?

I hope I managed to explain the question good enough (english is not my first language). If not please tell and I will try to clarify.

Thanks in advance for any input regarding this!

Yes replay can record camera input or outputs. So if i understand well you need somehow to change input 1 to whatever you need at a moment on the fly. As far as i know (im not an advanced vmix user) there is no such option. The other way i know is to move inputs or change output with a shortcut. You dont need to enter settings in order to change what it will be routed in the output. Personally im using this way to change what i will send to outputs. I have an akai apc midi controller and i use shortcuts to change an input to output. For too many shortcuts you can also use streamdeck which also has the ability to make a folder under a button shortcut and organise there your shortcuts

Thanks for replying!
Ah, did not think of using shortcuts. Will investigate...

But you mentioned using replay to record an input. I fail to find this in the settings. I only find cameras and outputs... Probably me bad att searching (ask my wife...)

You can also use a Mix Input, and route this to the output. Quite flexible, and you can always see what is going out.
