Hi guys,
I have a Deltacast 3G SDI card installed in my machine and vMix recognize it as a 8 input card. But this card is bi-directional and can be configured also as an output card. At this moment the configuration is 4 in an 4 out but vMix still sees it as an 8 input card. My idea was to use 2 of those SDI output as "External Output". Is it possible and if yes, how? Thanks for any help.

Whilst there is a "standard" software interface for Windows video capture devices, which can be built into the Windows driver for that device, AFAIK there is no equivalent "standard" way of communicating with broadcast-video output cards like those from Blackmagic, etc, (i.e. cards which are not PC display cards, which includes the Deltacast card). That means that vMix would have to write specific support for each manufacturer's output cards, not a trivial task, particularly when some cards have very few users, hence the current situation where many cards are not supported.

Thanks for your answer Zenvideo.
You just confirmed what I was afraid of. I was hoping there was a way to circumnavigate this...
