Im wondering whether its possible to record replays from the source feed and not the program feed?

As an example, I will be pulling in a feed from a web browser source. Then I'll be creating a new input to include that feed + assets on top. This will then be put out on the program feed with two commentators talking over the top. What I would like to do is use replay footage from the source feed, so I have the source audio coming through (game sound in this instance) but not the commentary on top? Is there a way to do this?

Yes, in the replay setup just select your source as a "camera". I'm not sure, but web browser inputs probably can't be selected as a camera directly. In this case, route your input to (e.g.) Ouput 3, and use Output 3 as the replay "camera" source. Also, route the audio of your input to a bus (e.g. Bus A) and in Settings, Ouputs/NDI, set Bus A for Output 3 (cog icon).

Thanks for the reply. I actually tried this as I'm using the very method you mentioned to receive the browser source into instant replay. Initially, the audio was on "follow" but I changed it to the same output as the source but it seems the audio isn't captured by instant replay.

Yes, to capture it,
- enable Audio Bus A (Settings: Audio Ouputs)
- in the Audio Mixer, route your input to Bus A
- set the Audio Source for Output 3 to Bus A (Settings: Outputs/NDI).

Audio Source in replay settings should be the "camera" with Output 3.

At least in the GIF, the input is muted. You have to turn its audio on to record it.

Thanks. That's worked. I think I got confused with unmuting it without it being on the master, as it will need to be on master when its on program. But obviously it will be recorded then anyway. Thanks for the help.
