I've been looking for quite some time for a Visca over IP PTZ controller tool.
Not for the PTZ functionallity, but only for the exposure en WB settings.

I've got some Sony SRG-300H camera's without web interface and the only way to adjust the settings is by the on-screen menu, but that is not very practical.
The only Sony tool that supports the SRG-300H is the RM-IP Setup Tool, but it can only set the IP address.
I found this phantastic 'PTZ Stick' tool:
but unfortunately it is not for sale.

If anyone knows of a similar tool for free or a fair price, I'd be very grateful.

I tried BItfocus companion, that will also do the job, at least to some extent.

Unfortunately the Sony Visca connection plugin lacks some Visca commands as a OSD on/off button.

I searched for a simple script to send a Visca over IP command, but found only people with problems to do so en no solutions.
It's seems to be a bit harder dan sending Visca over serial.

If anyone has any idea.

You might want to look at the PTZOptics application. It's free and uses Visca over IP commands.

Thanks, I already tried it, but it uses different exposure/WB options than Sony and I don't need the PTZ section.
It also takes a lot of space on my monitor.

Right now I am working with the PanelBuilder-Companion combination, thats quit interesting. ;)

For those who are interested:
I replaced the Sony Visca connection in Companion by the Lumens PTZ camera it has almost all the Sony commands and also the OSD on/off and Menu Enter commands!
