Larix Broadcaster (Android and iOS apps) and Haivision Makito X4 encoder allow using NTP server and inserting SEI timecode metadata into outgoing SRT live streams.
The metadata can be used on the receiving end to synchronize different SRT streams. For instance, Nimble Streamer can synchronize different remote cameras feeds and output them via NDI.
In my opinion, this will be an extremely important upgrade for vMix from the SRT implementation standpoint.

We've also been looking into this and it's a very powerful addition that makes it possible to synchronize SRT-enabled cameras a lot easier.
Currently we have to resort to using third party software to sync the streams and ingest them via NDI. It would be very powerful if this could be supported out of the box in vMix.

By doing it with third part software you mean outputting from vMix into software that streams SRT and supports timecode?

+1 this would be great to have SEI or VITC re-sync of sources when being received.

What I would like is vMix to support timecode metadata injection in the outgoing SRT streams, on one side, and synchronising of the incoming SRT streams, on the other side. This would make remote production much more reliable.
