what does this option in vMix10? is this "virtual genlock" from vMix9?

Martin Could you answer this question? I am unable to get version 10 to recognize my camera unless I check this box use VMR. Greg

Hi Greg,
What camera are you using? VMR should not be used unless instructed to do so by support, it is used for diagnosing some issues.

Martin I guess I should try some more testing. Tonight was the first time I tried to use a camera in vmix since I updated to version 10. I think that I had to put the input on SDI and check the vmr box. I am using firewire for both of them. I have two Panasonic cameras and both were the same way. One DVC 30 and PV-GS400

One time it give a message about no dv link. Other times the video was blank but there was audio. I will try again this afternoon.
Martin I tried the two cameras this afternoon and they both were seen by Vmix. I am guessing it was a glitch in windows. I restarted Vmix a couple of times but it didn't work but I didn't restart the PC. Sorry for the false alarm. Thanks for the help.
