I need to send a Zoom meeting with multiple guests to vMix for an event webcast. (Note: NOT vMix to Zoom)
I configured my Zoom laptop with me as the Zoom Host and set the mic on that laptop as VB Cable (the driver is already installed).
The Zoom laptop is running vMix Desktop Capture (which is working OK).
The vMix laptop has an NDI Input which sees the Zoom laptop clearly. (the Audio button on that input is on)
However, while the video goes through to the vMix laptop just fine, for some reason the audio does not.

Btw - NDI capture of the other laptop when Zoom is not active, works fine for both video and audio sent to vMix.
But if Zoom is activated on the laptop the audio is garbled with both mics - internal mic as well as the VB Cable mic

Can anyone suggest a solution urgently please?

It was the damn Dell laptop running Windows 11 that was causing all the problems!!!
Dell/Win 11 as Zoom Guest to Any other Laptop running Zoom Host and/or vMix - no problems
And yes, all the mic/speaker settings were set up correctly in Dell - exactly the same as the other Zoom laptop(s)
When I just use my old Lenovo laptops running Windows 10, everything is OK.

On further investigation, it was also Zoom and vMix not liking each other.
Yes, the Win11 laptop was unsuitable but even on Win10 laptops the Zoom audio going into vMix was broken up.
If anyone has any suggestions that might help - please!

OK! I think I got the issue licked!
Here's the procedure I used to get my Zoom audio and video into vMix on another PC...

ON THE ZOOM PC:
Start vMix Desktop Capture (this would send the visual to vMix)
Enable NDI Screen Capture (this would send audio to vMix)
• Audio source VB Cable Output
• Webcam Source – None
Note: NDI Webcam was not necessary and not used.
Start Zoom:
• Mic – VB Cable Output
• Speakers - VB Cable Input
Video – I use my own webcam to see myself or turn Zoom Video off if I do not.

ON THE vMIX PC:
Add an NDI Input – Display 1 of the Zoom PC
Add a second NDI Input – ‘NDI Audio Only’
Open the NDI Input Setting, select Layers/Multi-view and add the NDI Audio Only to the second layer.
Make sure green audio buttons are on and volume adjusted.
Make sure that at least 1 Guest is on the Zoom Meeting with their usual mic and video webcam going.

Hope this helps and thanks everyone for your advice and assistance.
