Is there a shortcut, function, script, or any way to control the transition of a Mix input? Currently the only way I see to transition a mix between preview/output is by clicking on a button (cut/fade) inside the Mix input. It would greatly improve my workflow if there was a way to do this via a shortcut.

This is certainly possible using companion. So I expect there is an internal vmix shortcut.

With companion you need to set...
vmix transition, with mix input number 2,3 or 4
Then the type of transition.

Note: the first input that is a mixinput is 2, the next is 3 (even if the first mix input is input number 172!)

I hope that helps.

No need for companion even. Keyboard, streamdeck native, Transition function within a script all work
Shortcut: Select a transition, keep input as preview but select your Mix 2,3 or 4

There is also "do you believe in life after love" :-)
