Having issues running NDI Bridge with VMix.
Running VMix 25.0.0.34 and NDI Tools 5.5.1.0, the Bridge runs fine just using NDI tools applications, but as soon as I try to use Bridge sources in VMix, the bridge host shuts down, without any kind of error message.

I'm not sure if it's an issue with VMix or NDI Bridge, but hoping someone else has experienced the same issue, and / or found a fix?

Most likely the hardware you are running bridge on. Have you installed it on a separate PC on your network?

I've had the issue persist with multiple machines. I've tried my regular streaming PC (i9, Quadro 5000), streaming laptop (i7, 3060) and an AWS G4.2xl instance.

Tried running bridge separately and on the vmix PC in all scenarios. On all machines the bridge runs reliably (tested continuously up to a week) but when trying to use them in Vmix, the bridge host just shuts off.

I've put the same question in a NewTek forum, but no luck yet.

I just tested the NDI Bridge over a WAN connection into vMix. I added a second NDI signal and all is working as expected.
I can offer you try to connect to my bridge or I can join your just to see where the issue is.
It seems to be local to you I have to admit.

Mavik, and you have not manually installed the NDI 5.5 dll (I am not sure vMix 25.0.0.34 support it yet).

There seems too be a few people with the same issue on Newtek forums.

If you've managed to have the bridge running with vmix for multiple days I'd love to test your setup to try and find the issue if it's something at my end.

I haven't tested for days so far but am happy to set something up to get a test going.

i did several tests over long time with different pc‘s either on internal network or over the internet.
i was never able to have a stable system, as it would be needed for a broadcast situation.
since the testresults where much worse with vmix, i did the tests with ndi monitor.
i did the tests with all ndi versions, up to 5.5xx
also changed the vmix ndi dll to the actual bridge version.

test 1
Paperspace cloud with nvidia gpu, acting as bridge,
all clients where out of sync (audio-video) in short time, <30min
client x299, 10900, rtx4000
tested with all options, h264, h265: low and medium bw.

test 2
internal network, gbit
bridge on the x299
client1 on hp g3 laptop, quadro m3000
client2 dell precision,i7?, quadro p2200
both clients stopped several times unexpected, audio out of sync.

i changed test2 to another bridge with a xeon?? and a rtx5000
same result,

i changed test 2 to another network
same result

running several times, over 24 hours, both clients where always down, next day

test 3
xeon as bridge
client hp g3 laptop over 5G mobile gsm router (250mbits up and down)
in short time, signal was interrupted and or out of synch.

i did tests with all the same hardware, with SRT miniserver, acting as relais, all testcases where running rocksteady stable over a few days.
disadvantage of the SRT solution, costs and latency.

i still hope, that someone else can show me a working ndi bridge system, in my environment🙂

I'm also having frustrating issues with NDI Bridge. I've jumped back to SRT for the show I'm on right now. The extra latency is a bit annoying, but not as much of an issue as NDI Bridge shutting itself off.
