Has anyone ran in to the problem :
While streaming on vMix, while using VLC/M3U8 video ingests as a source, I have had the source lock up, then if I try to manipulate that source to fix or change, it totally locks up vMix and I have to force close the whole app during the stream.
If I just close the source, vMix will recover, but it has made using M3U8 streams unreliable as a source?
The only common factor I can find is if the M3U* source is low quality or low upload rate it cause the crash more often.
I am testing on Windows 11 now to see if that helps some how.
Thanks, in advance, for any comments or advice.

Was this ever fixed? Having this problem now, in fact HLS as an input stream into VLC plugin seems completely broken. If VLC and FFPLAY can handle a simple local stream, it seems odd that VMIX won't handle it.
If there are ways for this to work, what protocols and settings work?
Adding a VLC plugged in HLS stream input drives CPU very high, VMIX crashes (won't respond) and yet no input video shows.

Try converting the file before bringing it into vmix if that is possible.....

Please note, vMix does not support HLS/M3U8 streams in VLC as it is unreliable (it will crash or freeze the standalone VLC app as well in some situations)
You can see the formats that do work with VLC in vMix from the Stream selection window, they are only RTMP, UDP, RTP, RTSP and TS
