Hi vMix community!
I want to assemble PC for 8 cameras replays. I have DeckLink Quad 2 now with 8 inputs and Decklink minimonitor 1 output
On vMix main page reference PC on intel 10980x processor, but it hard to find it.
Is it possible to assemble on intel 12900 series, and how it will work?
Does anyone have experience?
I will be grateful for the information

Hi Alex

The main issue with the current generation i9-12900K CPUs is the lack of PCIe support, so you will likely only be able to connect one of your two capture cards.
The other issue is the split nature of the cores and differing base clock speeds, the 8 Performance cores are fine @ 3.2GHz, but the 8 Efficient cores are a little slow @ 2.4GHz.
As such, the i9-12900K will work with 6 to 8 Camera Instant Replay but is only slightly better than the Ruby Reference System.
