is it possible for the user accessing the vMix call URL to only receieve the return video/audio (from vmix v25).

IE the user does not have a webcam at all.

Im hoping to use vMix call in this way to listen in to a dante audio feed we have on vmix, retmoly, at low latency (even medium latency is fine).

However every time a pull up the vmix URL i cant get past the "Can not find webcam" (or on advanced vmix call gui, same thing). if i close out that "Can not find webcam" prompt , i get nothing.

is it not possible to use vmix call in this way?

(im aware of the new live lan feature, however that does not work in this case for us).

thanks

NO, vMix Call requires a bi-directional video and audio feed (they can be blank but they have to be there), as such, any kind of Virtual Webcam should work even an edition of the FREE vMix Basic could be used for that.

You can use the NDI tools for two options. Use the virtual input and the test pattern as a source the vmix call will see. Or second, use NDI bridge to exchange NDI signals without vmixcall.
