Hi everyone,

During my live show I would like to be able to show the presenters Android tablet. Could I connect the output of the tablet (Nexus 7) to an Hdmi converter and then import that via my Matrox VS4 into vMix?

Thanks

Hey!

Found some used adpaters cheap online, these were both iPad and Samsung's MHL adapters, haven't tried them yet, but I'll make sure to make a new post when I do!

Here's some pictures of them:

Also, I know some Android tablets come with native HDMI ports, like my old ASUS TF700T, which works great. BUT I'm having problems making these models with 16:10 aspect ratio send out a 16:9 picture without the toolbar. It is currently running an old (latest official) version of android, and I've read that they've been changing some settings in the newest versions so I'm rooting it to KitKat 4.4.2 soon.

Also, it only runs in 720p60 with my Intensity Pro, but in 1080p30 on my Matrox MXO2 Mini probably due to the EDID data sent, so I've wondered if this tool would make it change.

Again, will try to keep you guys updated :)

Cheers,
Håvard
