In the title editor, adding a character count as you type text (ie: 10 characters remaining) would be most helpful. That way text would not be cut off for on air. Ironically this forum indicates a maximum number of characters.

Webpage form can not be compared with a GT title function or processing.
Remaining Charactors is not feasable as when text block is set to shrink ( so text doesnt get cut off) then there is technically no limit

Of course can always make a small script counting the characters ;-)
