Hi I am a newbie.
We have a Behringer x32 mixer. We are trying to improve our sound quality by using a DAW. We installed a 30 day trial of Cubase 12. We have installed ASIO for the x32 for Cubase.
My question is has anyone successfully used a DAW like Cubase with vMix for live streaming ?
Note: Vmix and Cubase are on the same PC .
Any help and guides will be greatly appreciated.

Most likely you need to carefully figure out the ASIO routings between vMix and the DAW. I use an RME Babyface Pro USB interface, which is not the same, but I need to manage the audio inputs and outputs manually. It works perfectly and gives lots of flexibility, but requires more effort than a simpler setup.

Any help and guides will be greatly appreciated. do you really need a DAW ? x32 is a capable mixer and you can use the Behriner X Edit software if you want to do everything from the computer..
