Might be a tad early with this, but very curious about the usage of GT Advanced.
Since Advanced ships with 4K and Pro, and we create certain titles using advanced features and save them as the new gtzip format, can they then be imported and used an a smaller version ov vMix, like HD?

Titles created in GT Advanced will load in all editions of vMix, but will be static only if the Standard edition is installed.
The exception to this is a small number of free animated templates that will be included with all editions, but these will not be able to be modified.

Since the name of this thread is just "GT Advanced Title Designer" I guess it's okay to post some questions about it in here:
I heard that it will be possible to import image sequences, but it will loop. What does this mean?
For example:
I would like to create an animation in After Effects and would like to export it as an image sequence and then import it into the GT Advanced Title designer. Can I determine the in and out points of that animation and set the part in the middle to loop?

I guess you could add the pause into the middle if you're talking about a logo spinning and holding for 20secs?

I tried to see if this was in it on the demo Martin did on the FTL show, but didn't see either way, is there a way to auto size text based on the textbox?
When using data sources, this is pretty big for me, as there might be the odd name that pops up that is too large, I'd rather shrink the odd larger name, than have all the names on my graphic be much smaller than the graphic. And making a template "big enough" for everything is just not possible, you never know when a larger name will register for an event, so its extremely hard to predict. Auto size text would be great for this use case. LiveStream Studio has this as an option for the text boxes, it lets you select how to handle longer names, either crop, wrap, or squeeze/auto size the text.

Yes, auto sizing text boxes are possible in the new designer, shrinking text to fit if necessary.
In regards to image sequences, I may have spoke a bit too soon on the show. That feature in particular is still being finalised, but the intention is for it to be used for basic animated bugs that continually animate in a loop.
As GT is fully GPU accelerated, any image sequences imported would be loaded into the GPU memory all at once. That can be VERY memory intensive for large image sequences so we need to be careful in how it is implemented and supported.

Martin vMix

Ok, it's probably a little bit early for this question, but is there any chance that there will be some kind of timeline and the option to add in/out animations and loop the middle part in the future?
I tried NewBlue Titler, but I wasn't happy with it. I much rather would be able to load all graphics as single inputs into Vmix and load them with shortcuts from there. Also had some problems with the rendering and titling when using NewBlue with Vmix.

GT will be focused on basic animations and transitions only, similar to how items are animated in PowerPoint. So there won't be a timeline but there will be:
1. TransitionIn, TransitionOut, Continuous, DataChangeIn, DataChangeOut events 2. These can all have animations attached to them for every element in the template
Continuous: This can be used for constant animations at all times, such as a cube rotating or background gradients moving DataChangeIn/Out: These can be used to animated prior to and after data changes, for example to fade everything out and then back in again.

We do a recording of 15-20 stories, each story headline is never more than 65 characters long but not all are that long. I would love for these headlines to stay the same height, but stretch to fill the set area. How can I do that in the new title system?

I found it! I was looking for something special but it was just a simple button.
Width: Width of Text box will expand to the right automatically as the amount of text grows. Height: Height of the Text box will expand to the bottom automatically as the amount of text grows. (Note if Word Wrapping is disabled, the box will only expand when new lines are added)

But what if I wanted that text or image to scale to the box area? The spacing used with the width tool just adds spaces, how about scaling?

Anyone know if text stretching is possible? The auto spacing is not going to work for this production.
