Sorry if this has been asked before, I have searched high and low I want to mix up to 16 inputs coming in ASIO in a DAW (preferably Reaper) and send the output from that to vMix. Problem is that vMix does not seem to recognise any of the ASIO outputs from Reaper (or other DAW's?) Can anyone please point me in the right direction to solve this issue Thanks in advance

does any other app recognize your DAWs via ASIO? vMix should handle ASIO jusr fine, so probably the issue lies somewhere else.

Reaper has Rearoute ASIO drivers which act like virtual audio cable between applications.. i think they install by default unless you deselect that option... (in theory) you should be able to send your master output from Reaper to Rearoute1/Rearoute2 and use that as an input in vMix..
if you are mixing live inputs in Reaper through an ASIO interface then its possible you may not be able to use the same interface in vMix to monitor, that requires multi client ASIO drivers which not all interfaces have.. if thats the case and you have a second audio interface or motherboard audio you could probably use that as your vmix device for monitoring.. alternatively you could use Rearoute again as the output from vMix back into Reaper to monitor.. if you try it make sure you have sample rates matching between programs..
there is also another driver called VB-Cable which i think vMix recommend for this purpose, so that might be an option also..
