There is no solution on resolving this issue unless than using a different software instead of vmix. Please help me find a solution.

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Runtime.Serialization, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

Hi,

Can you elaborate on what you are attempting to do? What your methodology is etc... So far all you've given us to go off is an error log with 0 information or context.

Thanks, hopefully with more info we can better assist.

If you are running Windows 11:
https://www.vmix.com/kno...1-kb5012643-update-issue

KNOWN ISSUES

There is a critical bug in the latest Windows 11 update (KB5012643) that has affected some important Windows system files. This has broken the following vMix features, among others:
· Hardware drivers (such as the Stream Deck)
· Being able to host a vMix Call
· Logging in or setting up some live streams

Stream Deck button has a yellow error warning icon when pressed and does not work in vMix
vMix Call not connecting and showing black screen, Call Manager shows System.IO.FileNotFoundException error
Unable to login into some streaming services since updating Windows 11

To fix, please roll back your Windows Update to the previous version by clicking on the Windows button and typing “windows update”, then open the Windows Update Settings application. Now click on the ‘Update History’ button and under the ‘Related Settings’ section, click on ‘Uninstall Updates’.
From here, look for the update numbered KB5012643 and right-click it to uninstall. Once uninstalled and restarted, vMix and its features should return to normal. We do not recommend updating Windows 11 until Microsoft are able to release a more stable fix.

Thank you Greg! This fixed my completely broken vMix! I’m so glad! This must be raised to the attention of everyone NOT TO install that particular update.

Many thanks!
