One of my typical workflows in setting up a show is:

- Build layout templates
-- Start with a blank input
-- Make layer 1 be a full-screen background image input.
-- Make layer 2 or more being resized and cropped camera/playback inputs. For example: 2-box portraits, with camera A being on the left and camera B being on the right. I use a color input as a temporary FPO/For Placement Only.

- Then I create my looks
-- With a new blank input, I copy layers from one of the layout templates.

The issue I see is that when I replace the color input layer 2 or more with a camera or other source, the size of the box changes, altering my layout. Is the issue that Im using a color input to crop/resize? Since I assume it doesn't have a screen resolution it's throwing things out of porportion?

Hi, I tried recreating your workflow and so far everything seems to be working correctly.
Can you record the work flow and then maybe I can provide some guidance or identify where the issue may be.

Don't forget that a blank(color) input is NOT production size
