Good morning,
We are doing video production for our local asphalt short track that we send through Floracing.com. One requirement is live scoring during the races. We’ve got race monitor working well with race monitor production tools so we are able to import our data in that fashion to the individual running positions. Right now I have a GT Title layer setup with the graphics they desire. I have 1st through 5th on the top line and 6th through 10th on the next line. These are on the the very top portion of the screen. Showing the top ten is great and it updates fine according to our settings, and in most races the top ten is sufficient with ten cars or less entered.
The problem I have is that on race where we have more than ten cars entered we would like to have the bottom row(presently 6th through 10th) change on a 4 or 5 second interval and go from 6-10…..11-15….15-20, etc depending on the number of cars. I was trying to setup transition animations in GT Title Designer to handle this. I have my base graphics in a layer, 1st through 5th in a layer, 6-10, 11-15, and 16-20 all in separate layers. My plan is:

Base layer- showing with no animations entire time
1-5- showing with no animations entire time
6-10- show first 5 seconds and hide next 10 seconds
11-15- hide first 5 seconds show next 5 seconds hide last 5 seconds
16-20- hide 10 seconds show last 5 seconds
Then keep looping the transition while it’s showing.

My settings are apparently incorrect. Base and 1-5 are fine. I’ve not got past getting 6-10 set correctly to continue on to setting up the next two layers.
Any ideas how to incorporate this correctly would be greatly appreciated.
I absolutely love this program and all of the functionality it includes. Sometimes it’s an easy fix I keep missing and other times I’m in left field.
I’d really appreciate any help y’all might could provide.
Thanks in advance,
Nick

Consider pages (with duplicates of the 6-10 layout for the other possible series and have datasource connected to all )
Might consider scripting for easier display control

So using pages through scripting I could set it up to show each at an interval and then loop it all over again and again?

Much thanks for your help!
