Hi Streamers.

I well know this is not a pure vMix question! Shame on me.

We are facing a situation where we will have to stream to one Facebook channel with to streams that will overlap in time.

We are having two vMix licenses, so this is not our problem.

When we are having

Stream A at 10 AM and
Stream B at 11 AM

and Stream A will last for two hours, we will stream for one hour simultaneously with stream A and B.

Does someone know if this is possible on Facebook? How about YouTube?

If so, can we use vMix's way to select the stream (destination) using the API or MUST WE use different streamkeys, when scheduling the stream on Facebook? What about YouTube?

Did not find any answer about this and hope someone can give reliable information.

Thank you!

Michael

If I understand you correctly, you can stream two streams to Facebook. You can use a Persistent key for one and a non-persistent key for the other. Both will show on your Facebook simultaneously

that's no problem on YouTube, but you need two different keys
