Hello,

Im looking to set up a new system U1, i7 2500K, win7 64bit with at least two composite video capture inputs to work with vMix and FMLE. Hence, I have to decide which capture card to use (I want to use one card due to limited U1 space). At this point I have identified the following capture cards:

1. Osprey 460e http://www.viewcast.com/...osprey-cards/osprey-460e
2. WCSA440e http://www.webcamsoft.com/en/wcsa440e.html
3. VC440e http://www.webcamsoft.com/en/vc440e.html

The big question is if any of these cards have been tested with vMix and actually found compatible. The second question is if there might be some other capture cards with at least two composite inputs that I havent noticed.

Looking forward for your help,
Dundurs

Ok, if no one has came across these cards noted above, perhaps you can comment on the following cards if they are tested and compatible with vMix?

1. Hauppauge Colosus http://www.hauppauge.com...ducts/data_colossus.html
2. Intensity Pro http://www.blackmagic-de....com/products/intensity/

Thanks,

Hi Dundurs,

The Osprey and Webcam Corp. cards should both work fine based on the specifications on the respective web sites.
If you run into any issues with vMix we can provide support in getting them up and running.

The Hauppauge Colosus does not work with vMix as it uses an h.264 encoder which introduces a significant delay and is only intended for file capture.

We have tested the DeckLink, Intensity Pro and Intensity Shuttle cards ourselves.

Martin

Hi Martin,

As I said, I bought 4 Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle for use with laptop and Vmix.
The Blackmagic support told me that several Intensity Shuttle does not guarantee work at the same time and I have a problem of bandwidth for USB 3.0 interface with laptop and have confirmed it. We recommend using the product Blackmagic Intensity Pro Desktop. This makes it possible to use multiple cards at once. The solution would be this or you can suggest another board? I thought to use the Osprey too. Which is better: Intensity Pro or Osprey? I sell Black Shuttle and buy another card.

Sincerely,

Mauro.
