Seems since Vmix update to 25 data source next item does not work
None of my GT titles or even simple titles go to the next item using the arrow keys under the preview or program windows.
All my titles are linked to either Google Sheets or excel sheet.

I can manually select the data source but not with the arrows for the next data source line.
Tried using shortcuts to solve the problem. No Luck.

I've checked all the various data source management options.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

It works for me, but I have one added extra shortcut just for one time at start. DataSource - Select Row, or DataSourceSelectRow and I select first row (0).

The arrow keys under preview/output are not for controlling data sources, and have never had that functionality.
You will need to create keyboard or controller shortcuts DataSourcePreviousRow and DataSourceNextRow as per the help file:

I have just tried to control the data sources with the current beta of Bitfocus Companion: Everything fine... So it's not a problem of the API

I'm having the same problem as JP trying to move through the rows of a data source.
Data source is an Excel spreadsheet.
Tried the "DataSourceNextRow" in shortcut and it doesn't work. (Name: excel/csv, Table: sheet1)
Tried the recommendation of gre2gor and still doesn't work.
I also tried through Companion and it didn't work.
In the GT Title data source setting, I tried to set the row to Selected, and also to '1' as a starting point.
It still didn't work.
The only function that seems to work is the "DataSourceSelectRow" where you set an index off the starting row 1.

The arrow keys at the bottom of the data source work fine chaining rows. But I want to do this actually in some scripting. But if it doesn't work in the shortcut, it won't work in the scripting.
Thanks for any suggestions.

- Make sure there is only one datasource called "Excel/CSV" else it will refer to the first one
- Use the name of the datasource exactly as it is "Excel/CSV" not "excel/csv" or any other given name during DS setup
- Same applies to the sheet name (if omitted it wil take the first sheet), Must be name as given within the Excel file
- Value is "Excel/CSV,Sheet1" and not "Name: excel/csv, Table: sheet1"

data manager shows name as Excel/CSV. That is what I used in the shortcut. There is only one Data source - Excel/CSV.

I'm not using the word Name: or Table. I only put that in the post to show what I used for Name & Table.
Just changed the Name from excel/csv to Excel/CSV. still did not work.
Value in the shortcut: Excel/CSV,Sheet1
Still the "DataSourceNextRow" does not work.

vMix data source info.png (173kb) downloaded 4 time(s).

Using a comma in the value specifications (not a period) ? is a common mistake as it is hard to see
Is the vMix window itself active when you use the shortcut ?

They are commas.
