Question
I notice that when i input a video file into vMix and play it, it plays well
But then when i use vmix virtual capture to output the file to Wirecast 4, it plays well in vimx with bout video and sound but not so with wirecast only the video is present but no sound.
And the same thing when i broadcast it from wirecast to Ustream still no sound.
Is there something i am doing wrong? The file is a AVI-HD file with MP3 audio format.
1280x720 / Bitrate 12000 / Frame rate 29 / Audio Bit rate 192KHZ / Sample rate 48KHZ / 2 Channel

Please see here to get the audio working: http://forums.vmix.com.a...t.aspx?g=posts&t=188Same setup is required for any program that used the vMix Virtual Capture. Unfortunately i'm not sure what specific setup is required for Wirecast, so you may need to contact them. If you are only using it for streaming you can use Flash Media Live Encoder instead. Ustream have documentation on using it with them.
