I had posted earlier about an issue with sending my Master Output to Microsoft Teams. Now the client is changing streaming platforms to Zoom Events. This has the same issue. If vMix and Zoom are running on the same machine, I can start External output(not NDI), and in Zoom I can set the video input as 'vMix Video', and I get video, but no audio. I see tutorial after tutorial of this, and there is never any mention that this only brings in video only.
We do not need the functionality of having the participants to be able to interact, they are just there to watch the presentation, so I wouldn't think that a virtual audio cable setup would be necessary, we just want to send out the main output from vMix(video AND audio) to Zoom.

Hi Sebrame, ZOOM is only recognizing Audio as a Mic Device on the PC, therefore we need a bridge that act as an Audio Virtual Device such as VB Cable (I never used it though, just using NDI Tools), we can also turn on the NDI Output and use NDI 5 Tools Webcam Input to pass vMix Audio to ZOOM as a Mic Input. You also might want to turn on "Original Sound" to make the sound delivered in HQ without Noise Reduction. Not sure why vMix don't provide the Virtual Audio Device just like the Virtual Cam (vMix Video). That will be awesome if we can have that :).

Well, at least it's good to have confirmation that it's not possible to use audio when choosing 'vMix Video' as your source in Zoom(or Teams for that matter). Yeah, yeah...I realize that it says 'vMix VIDEO', but in every tutorial I've seen(even from vMix) they state that for most users, this would be all that is needed. Why wouldn't you need to send your Master audio out as well? I don't think that the tutorial makers even realize that their audio isn't coming from vMix and that audio must be routed separately via NDI, or directly into Zoom from a separate device altogether such as a mixer or USB audio interface.
