I have several vMix systems allowing multiple instances of vMix to run. The 'Allow Multiple Instances' in the 'Advanced settings' is un-checked.
I have had several support calls over the past few weeks where a second copy of vMix has been accidently launched (production staff minimising the primary copy, and launching a second copy of vMix).
The second copy always produces errors, as it can not attach to any of the live sources (SDI inputs). So the support call is always "All our cameras have gone black"
Any Ideas?
Keith

Hi Keith,
This can only happen in rare situations where it is impossible to determine which vMix opened first. Usually this is caused by beginner computer users who double click the items in the start bar rather than clicking once. This will launch two copies at the exact same time, something vMix is unable to avoid.
Regards,
Martin
