Wondering of it might be a possibility to begin the vMix Call with the Camera Preview Off? We're returning the clients feed in the program stream so they immediately see a double image of themselves - we have to go through the explanation to tell them how to turn it off for the best experience.

Maybe a 'tag' in the URL we send them that could turn off the preview by default? Alternately, might there be feedback in the Call Manager or States that can tell us if they have the Preview open or closed?

It's up to you to select what you return to your callers, just don't send them PGM out by default. Use OUT2, 3 or 4 as return feed and it can even be a dynamic cut.
If you operate vMix, you're in charge, you're the director, it's your job to direct

Sorry - maybe I wasn't clear. I was talking about the Picture in Picture window that shows in the vMix Call interface when a caller calls in. Id like to have that turned off on their side by default.

I would love to have URL parameters for initial call setup, just to access the buttons on the tool bar - for instance we'd like to send a link to an operate who clicks and it opens up with mic muted, overlay off camera off.
We're using VMIXCall as a low latency way to get video/audio comms back to the operator, and being able to specify that in a prefilled URL would be way perferrable.

Thanks

The biggest issue with having their camera feed on is that most people who don't get connected, think they ARE connected because they seem themselves. Turning this off would solve some confusion I believe.
