Hi everyone, I have a ticker that reads data from an xls file and I would like to create an automatic script that broadcasts the text as soon as the file name changes and then closes. In practice the text must only come out when saving the xls file.

There are plenty of examples of database monitoring scripts in this thread. The first post in the thread has links to various scripts and at least one of them should lead to an example script you can customize for your use.
