Virtual PTZ control with Birddog P4K problems

So we have three P4K's running over Sony Visca over IP - manual control of them using the PTZ control works fine.

However when we set virtual input positions when recalled the zoom is correct but the pan and tilt is always reset to the centre.

Any ideas?
