Hi good folks.

This is my first post, but I've had very good use of this forum - so thanks!

I run vMix on a win10 pro laptop that has two graphics cards - the generic Lenovo card (Intel UHD Graphics 630) and an NVIDA GeForce GTX 1650.

I keep getting warnings that the GPU is suffering. The same happens if the "Use Hardware encoder" option is ticked or not. Here an illustration of usage with that selection ticked:

And here an illustration of the same streaming settings, but without using the hardware encoder:

My NVIDA driver software seems to be correctly set - this image is from the system tray:

What am I doing wrong? Why can't I get vMix to lean more heavily on the NVIDA-card?

Either disable Optimus, or make sure Optimus compability is enabled.

Tried enabeling Optimus - made absolutely no difference.

I've gone through all the nvida config reccomandations - so nvida is set to be the card of choice for vMix and the computer in general in fact. The PhysX is set to Nvida too.

Still my Intel UHD seems to wat to be the boss here :-(

Today I had a simple show pushing 3mbps to NDI - wile watching the stream in Chrome at the same time - CPU ran at 100%, the UHD ran at 90% and the NVIDA ran at 12%.

Several things I don't understand here. I have a brand new Lenovo i9. Handleing this should not use 100% CPU and, of course, the Nvida should pull most of the graphics weight??

Got the last vMix update and the nvidia update from 20th dec and now i can stream, aux to NDI and record at the same time without using more than 17% CPU and 17% GPU!

That's what I call an improvement!
