EDIT:
EDIT: I think what I mean is not NDI but RTSP. It is a cat5 connection from a PTZOPTICS ZCAM.
EDIT: Whenever I say NDI, I think it should be RTSP
EDIT:

Setup:
4 SDI PTZ cameras
1 NDI fixed focus camera - SEE SPECIFICS
Behringer x32 with USB card for audio
Windows CPU with VMIX pro
Blackmagic 4 input card BNC

SPECIFIC NOTES
I am pretty sure the fixed camera is NDI. The BNC SDI feed is going to a separate CPU running VMIX and recording only that camera.
Another feed from that camera is coming into my CPU via network cable so I can record it in the mixdown feed from VMIX.

ISSUE:
syncing the cameras audio and video.

I know the cat5 camera feed takes longer.
I know where to delay frames of video on each input.
I know where to delay the audio input in milliseconds.

What I am not doing right is the theory of how to sync what to what.

Should I use the Cat5 camera as the target to sync to? since it takes the longest to arrive?

USAGE:
Live music venue. bands pay to record show.
most times they get a multitrack recording of audio and the raw footage from 5 cameras.

Sometimes they can only afford the mixdown. By mixdown I mean the end result of a 5 camera shoot and stereo audio all done in realtime with no way to edit each camera or the editing that was done on the fly.

The more expensive package should include the realtime mixdown too for easy viewing, or if we are streaming the show live, everything has to be in sync for the mixdown recording.

ATTEMPTS:

I set up a mic, focus all cameras on tight shot of mic and tap on mic with drum stick.
record in multicorder and just the record button (mixdown)
then i load files into adobe premier.

PROBLEMS:
no way to trigger multicorder and record button at same time so their start point isn't the same.
no cameras are synced

QUESTIONS:
Currently I only have audio on the mixdown. This is to keep file size down. Should I just put audio on all feeds to determine delay times then remove it?

Any lesson learned help would be greatly appreciated. 3 sold out shows at end of december that I need to stream with audio / video synced.

thanks in advance for your time.
