Hi.
I installed the 60 days Trial version of Vmix 18 in my MacBook PRO (Windows 10 64-bit, Boot Camp).

All functions work perfectly, but there is no sound. I´ve tried to load all kind of video-files, audio files and computer microphone.
Looking at the meters in the audio mixer I can´t see any input activity at all.

It seems to be a major thing that I am missing.
Can anyone figure it out?

I had the same problem, you need to install a/v codecs pack, such as xvid or quicktime for example

thickglass:
I installed xvid and Quicktime but it didn´t help.

AnakoAlbert:
I have sound in Windows generally. I can play a movie clip, in VLC for example, with sound.
If I try to play the same clip in VMix = no sound (and no meter activities in sound mixer, both in and out channels)

I´m going crazy!

Does anyone more has any suggestions what can be wrong with my sound.

Hi

did you check your audio outputs were right in "settings" ?

Make sure the default bus for inputs is set on MASTER and select the right MASTER OUTPUT for a start.

Do you use an external sound card or not?

If you open the audio mixer, do you see the VU meters moving when you plau something?

He doesn't see the meters moving on the inputs so this has nothing to do with the settings for the outputs or internal/external soundcard.
I would download the newest version of vMix and reinstall.
It works perfect on my Macbook Pro with Bootcamp and Windows 10. No extras like codecs or so.

The sound through my monitor stopped working yesterday as well. Spent over an hour reinstalling GPU drivers and trying to block Windows from downloading an older version while I do it. Turns out if I just turned my monitor off then back on it would start working again. Found a fix here: https://techloris.com/windows-10-no-sound/
