Been using vMix on for a while and recently upgraded my switch to a Netgear ProAV 4250 12-port w/ PoE. Followed this article to setup multiple VLANs on a Startech NIC, starting to wonder if the NIC itself is at issue? Wondering if anyone has had more success with a different brand of NIC that is >1GbE? The goal is to use the 2.5GbE NIC over Cat6 copper into one of the 10G SFP+ ports (and a Netgear SFP to Copper RJ adapter) for smaller setups: 4 BD 200 Cams plus vMix, occasionally with Dante Audio on the input side. Then vMix publishes the cut-feed as NDI to the network for additional processing by another PC that is also sending lighting data. Running HD Video for now, working toward being able to support 4K workflows end to end, hence the desire for higher capacity NIC. VLANs Port 1 thru 5 on VLAN 10 = 192.168.10.x <Video - NDI> Tagged for Ports 9-12 Port 8 & 9 on VLAN 20 = 192.168.20.x <Light - SACN/e1.31> Tagged for Ports 9-12 Ports 6 & 7 on VLAN 30 = 192.168.30.x <Audio - Dante> Tagged for Ports 9-12 Ports 9 - 12 (2 Copper & 2 SFP+) on VLAN 100 = 192.168.100.x <PC Access VLAN> Untagged on VLAN 100 Using this NIC, and the diagnostic software on this page to setup virtual ports. Each VLAN has a DHCP server, at 192.168.<VLAN>.1, so that the Virtual NIC tied to VLAN 20 will receive a 192.168.20.x IP address, for example. (Still working on this - something is off - all Virtual NICs receive VLAN 10 subnet addresses. *sigh* ) Manually configured each virtual NIC on PC to be a member of appropriate VLAN. Able to ping devices on each subnet successfully. Getting successful NDI communication over VLAN 10 for both Studio Monitor and vMix. Force Dante Controller to use the appropriate Virtual NIC, however, the software does not "see" the Dante device on VLAN 30, nor does the lighting software see the appliance on VLAN 20. Is there something I have overlooked? Any tested NIC recommendations for multi-VLAN setups? Thanks in advance! /\/\
