Hope everyone is doing ok,

I am creating a animated football card that slides into my broadcast, then after 10 seconds flips. That is the 1st image the front of the card. The 2nd image would be the back of the card and I can not figure out how to hide the 1st layer after the flip so it is not seen behind the 2nd layer. The card image is a die cut image so it is not symmetrical so thus layer 2 does not cover up layer 1.

Current configuration:

1) Image 1 (Front of card)
TransitionIn - 1) Fly (Delay 0, Duration 1) from the Right 2) Rotate (Delay 9, Duration 1) From the left.

2) Image 2 (Back of Card)
TransitionIn - 1) Fade (Delay 10, Duration .01)

The issue is this die cut image 1 can be seen behind image 2.

Thank you Patriots 2.png (74kb) downloaded 12 time(s). Patriots.png (418kb) downloaded 11 time(s).

One way would be to use the Storyboard feature of GT:

http://help.vmix.com/graphics/2/Storyboards.html

On TransitionIn set Image 2 to Hidden. On Page1 Image 1 is hidden and you can use the Fade on Image 2. Use a trigger OnOverlayIn with delay to time the transition to Page1. Function: TitleBeginAnimation.

Seems you want a flip card effect with different images on each side ... you can't (or it wil be very complex and probably not look good)

why not use an image sequence instead for the flip and the rest as usual (fly in etc)

I have 32 of these to make, i'd assume for the Image Sequence I would need to animate in another program such as Adobe After Effects.

I wondered what the Pages are for inside the GT - thank you for the information, you have opened a new door me in the GT animations!

Here is maybe an idea (just had to try, like anyone could have)

once set you only have to replace the images in title editor
, or maybe replace with shortcuts on the go

Layer holding both images (sides)
Animate layer on transitionin and out to fly

image 1 (front image)
image 2 (back image) (same position as 1)

image 1 animate on transitionin
- rotate
- Fade

image 2 animate on transitionin
- rotate
- Fade

Hello,

I'm trying to replicate your example animations University Esports league I'm helping stream and was wondering if you still had the GT-Title file for this you could share so I can see the settings for the animation to copy to a new GT file from a photoshop template. Otherwise, suggest the exact settings to be able to replicate this?

Imgur of example I'm wanting to copy: https://imgur.com/a/YXAYjyH

Thanks kindly

As example to learn from (the logic)

handflipanim.jpg (141kb) downloaded 12 time(s).

Plus small script to switch between page1 and page2
