+1 - but please consider adding an audio only output for an Shoutcast audio encoder for those stations who simulcast live on audio networks like iTunes & TuneIn. Maybe with features like the ability to use VST plugins like Stereo Tool for audio processing.

Finally, how about a way to adjust the lip sync on inputs (for problems with individual Skype or Zoom connections) and a way to use VST plugins like Stereo Tool for audio processing.

Oooo. dsolomon. That's lots of really good ideas, but they will get lost on this thread. They need to be on their own Feature Request thread. That way folks can +1 your suggestions (one per thread) and the vMix team can see where the user interest is. So, you might consider editing your post and starting some new threads.

And keep those good ideas coming.

BTW, also check to see that someone hasn't already made the same suggestion. You can +1 theirs so total interest can really be determined. I think VST has been requested, but double check me on that.

Hi,

Can you all describe where and how you would like to use the external outputs?
This will determine how possible it is to add something like this as there are a lot of system constraints involved in adding more outputs
(much easier to add inputs due to the way graphics cards work!)

Regards,

Martin

On our second BMD Decklink Duo 2 we have 4 Outputs

we want to have them for:
Program with Title and with TV-Station Graphic
Program with Title and without TV-Station Graphic
Program (total clean feed)

so we need three SDI Outputs

sometimes we also need the preview as SDI

on our "old" ATEM 2M/E we had 6 AUX Outputs and all of them in use

I have clients have the need to do more than one of the following: send the program output to a projector (maybe HDMI or VGA), to TV's (HDMI), to a 2nd/3rd monitor (DP, HDMI, DVI, VGA) or as a virtual camera for Zoom, Skype, GoToMeeting, etc. All of these would require additional External Outputs/Fullscreens.

Tom,
you can use a HDMI or SDI splitter to send PGM out to multiple screens. NDI is also a solution for other screens.
More external outs are only required when the content differs from PGM or current EXT2.

Martin,
Use cases options could be:
- PGM without overlays like EXT2,
- PGM with different audio,
- PVW,
- a completely different switching than PGM or EXT2 with or without different overlays,
- fixed inputs which are not cameras inputs (a lot of guys seem to want that for NDI out, even if I think it's easier to share sources as NDI streams from others computers in this case)

All of these could be used with NDI or physical outs

Also I personally would like to have an out that would provide this out as a virtual device on remote computers (like NDI Transmit) so that I could easily feed encoders, recorders or players that don't support NDI.

Maybe if this new EXT out could natively support aRGB, it would allow many things too...

I'd like to feed more in set monitors / projectors. Delay is a concern so being able to
use another HDMI on the GPU as an external would help this.

Thanks

+1 additional outputs could be used to monitor separate feeds or manipulate virtual inputs (panning and zooming possibly)

I would like a multi-view that does not show preview or program but only shows 2 or 3 camera inputs for our remote control operator to use.

You can already do this very easily and for free.

- Set NDI for all cams inputs in vMix.
- Download NDI Monitor from Newtek and run 3 instances on a remote computer selecting the 3 cams you want.
- Et voila!

Also you can do it with vMixUTC. I show how in this topic's video

I'm not sure but "Stream" and "Video" is not on NDI ?
