Another one possibly small advantage can be that IP Cameras can be with dual stream – You can use one for full HD and another one can be part of it (part of that resolution) for instance 480p which will allow you to move it without touching tripod – That is very good for instance conference with several speakers on one desk – You can use first stream to see all desk with all off them and second stream can be moved from one to another speeder separately – You have good cameras with sonny chip inside which is very good for lot of things and can be used even in low light conditions (in colour or in b/w)
My colleague has try vMix with one of two different models of Sonny cameras (from 200 to 600 Euros) and he is delighted with possibilities and i mention some of them already – Hope i helped you even little with this comments
