As in, desktop capture doesn't work at all?
Intel Graphics is used for all desktop compositing in Windows, even when using Nvidia graphics. How optimus works is if an app uses it, it renders "offscreen" and then sends that render to the Intel Graphics for final desktop composition.
This means that vMix Desktop Capture should always run under Intel Graphics as it potentially won't have anything to capture otherwise.

I've set Nvidia control panel to be used default for all apps. And when Nvidia graphics is used for Desktop Capture it works, but with a reduced frame rate. So, the solution would be to make sure that Desktop capture always should use Intel HD graphics. (migth be worth a note in the Help).

Is it possible to change the name/account name from which the Facebook Live events are posted?
Now it always says "posted by Vmix" instead of my accounts name.

As far as I know "posted by vMix" is the message Facebook adds to all programs that are used to post on behalf of the user. Such as "posted by App XYZ". No way to control this via the API that I know of.

I got following Error messsage when using Hardware Encoder for Facebook Live:
Streaming Stream #0:1 (pcm_s16le (native) -> aac (öibfaac)) Error while opening encoder for output stream #0:0 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height
FFMPEG.Exited libswresample 2. 0.100 / 2. 0.100 libpostproc 54. 0.100 / 54. 0.100 Guessed Channel Layout for Input Stream #0.1 : stereo Input #0, dshow, from 'video=vMix Video:audio=vMix Audio': Duration: N/A, start: 1069205.884000, bitrate: 1536 kb/s
Quality settings are normal presets (twitch, h.264. etc. tried a couple of them)
I am using the newest Vmix version 17.0.0.92
Does it have anything to do with the recent Nvidia update or are my settings corrupt? If so, what should I change?

A possible bug (17.0.0.92 x64, Win7): I can't drag-drop all inputs to the color labels. I have named a few of the labels.
It seems that virtual inputs and color inputs (with multiview) do not engage the drag-drop icon.

Hi Martin. Every input should have user choosable option so user can select the inputs he/she needs to be sent to NDI, please. That would be great. Or, an option to have External assigned to Preview, separate from Output/Record. I know External2 can do this, of course at that price. We are going to use two vMix License (HD Basic), the 2nd will be used for recording (via NDI from the 1st) and to cue up and send recorded videos to the 1st - all via NDI. I'm doing this now with the Trial Key that opens up all features. On the 2nd PC, I can have the Output doing recording while using Preview/External2 to serve recorded videos back to the 1st PC. With the HD Basic licenses (two of them), on the 2nd I will simply load a Profile for recording via NDI and load another when I need to serve up recorded videos remotely via NDI. I love how I am doing it now with all features using External2.

This means that vMix Desktop Capture should always run under Intel Graphics as it potentially won't have anything to capture otherwise. For vMix on a laptop with Intel/Nvidia, we should still have vMix configured to use the Nvidia GPU correct? I can set vMix to use the Intel or the Nvidia in the Nvidia control panel and vMix picks this up, regardless if "Enable Optimus Graphics compatibility" is checked under Settings/Performance. I left it checked (and vMix configured to use the Nvidia GPU in Nvidia's control panel, my system default is Intel). My next question, what is the purpose of: "Enable Optimus Graphics compatibility"? It doesn't seem to do anything in my setup. Should I have vMix use the Intel and have "Enable Optimus Graphics compatibility" checked instead on that laptop?

Quote:17.0.0.103 * Fixed NDI inputs sometimes loading from presets without a source selected I was just going to post about this, just lost a NDI Input in preset, been working fine for days. I'll give the new version a go soon. EDIT: 103 seems to have fixed the NDI input lost in preset, I'll see how it goes over the next few days. EDIT2: Seems presets do take longer to fully load. On a side note, on a Input, isn't there a way to reconfigure the source without closing the Input and adding another Input (which changes the order)? Quote:17.0.0.103 * Added Audio Only support for NDI inputs to reduce CPU usage * Added NDI output support for Webcams that use RGB32 format Thank you, shucks on the Webcams with RGB32, wish RGB24 .

I noticed that the vMixDesktopCaptureNDI was updated to 17.0.0.74. Is there a changelog and is it possible to view the version number in the download section?

I'm getting vMix crashes on Windows 7 with NDI desktop capture running on Macbook Pro (newest Desktop Capture 17.0.0.73 downloaded from vMix site).
First it crashed when Desktop Capture froze and I tried to change the input to new NDI source in the input options.
After getting it up, and replacing the lost NDI input with a functioning one, it crashed a second time without any warning while everything was up and running.
