Following the ZOOM video tutorial on your YouTube Channel (https://youtu.be/wTv-jANAqbE?si=LN9NcX7QyHu_InMX&t=1355)
I just tried to check out the Animated Layout of the tutorial. It makes a whole lot of sense & make production looks professional.
However, I noticed that the Triggered don't work if I spotlight anyone.
I will like to be able to spotlight my own Camera in ZOOM meeting, so that it is what EVERYONE in the Meeting sees. This way I can do a whole lot on vMix, like the Customised Layout, Lower 3rd, bringing guest & transitioning between them. And the output is the only thing people see while on ZOOM.
But when I spotlight I noticed if anyone speaks the triggers does not bring the person speaking to the top like in the case of that video on your YouTube Channel.
Is there a fix for this or is there anything I can do for that to happen that I am not doing? or is there a way to get that either with a trigger or so?
Thanks.

The triggers receive the "active speaker" signalling from Zoom directly, so if you are not seeing triggers when spotlighting, this means the active speaker feature is disabled by Zoom in that case and we have no control over that unfortunately.

This is specifically referring to the driver used under Add Input -> Camera That said the PTZ functionality may work by using the UVC PTZ option in vMix (only when using the camera in USB mode) but is not currently validated by us yet and why it is not on the supported hardware page for PTZ.

Ohhh really ? It's not working with webinar? We have a client 500+ attendee webinar coming in a few weeks and we had plan to use Vmix27 to bring in the five official Panelist ! In Zoom Webinar you have Host, panelist and attendees. Attendees are essentially just spectators But I though it would be possible to have Hosts and Panellist available to Vmix Now that, I have to say, is a real disappointment :-(

I guess you didn't understand the question: Usually if you do the "spotlight for everyone" on anyone on the ZOOM Meeting, no matter who is speaking everyone will still be seeing the spotlighted Participant irrespective of who is talking. But the Now Speaking indicator will be under the name of the person speaking if your are on the Gallery View. So I was wondering if you could Active Speaker can still make the animated layout follow the person speaking no matter who is SPOTLIGHTED.

The output from vMix to the M32 uses the ASIO "Klark Teknik DN32-Live" driver with the output being on channels 3+4 output from vMix Bus A. This allows us to play videos in vMix to the sound system but not have it feed that audio back to the output stream. Since our Preacher was under quarantine with Covid, he had recorded his sermon from home and sent it to us. At the last moment we hooked up a Behringer UMC 204 and switched vMix to output using that and it worked.
One of the things we checked was setting Windows Audio to the DN32 driver output and using media player we could send the audio through those channels so we verified that it was not a problem with the drivers or the M32 connection so it had to be a problem in vMix.
As expected when I started vMix today it remained non-functional, however I noticed the new version and downloaded and installed it. After the upgrade vMix now works with the driver again.
The question: Is there some sort of log hidden away where I can see what sort of problem vMix was having before that upgrade? Roy, Here you go... https://www.google.com/s...amp;sclient=gws-wiz-serp- Tom

As I said, this is all controlled by Zoom, so that would be a question for Zoom. vMix just sends whatever triggers it receives from Zoom and has no control over what situations they are sent in.

Firstly thank you for the update, I've been playing and enjoying the new features. One thing I have noticed, in the vMix Social there is no user icon being displayed I just see a broken image link, is there something I'm missing?

Am I the only one having issues with Desktop Capture as well? Compared to vMix 26, it seems that it takes a bit longer and is a bit laggier to capturing any programs. I tested both GDI and WGC for both versions and vMix 26 is always relatively faster. Another note is that WGC is unstable to capture Zoom Meetings especially when certain pop ups such as chats within Zoom Meeting is hidden in the background. It does not seem this is a Windows issue because vMix 26 for both WGC and GDI, even if I capture and it is "empty", it would not cause to crash. This crashing issue is isolated to only Zoom Meetings whenever I want to capture the second monitor and gallery view. Capturing anything else does not trigger a vMix crash.

In the latest version of vmix, the system suspends the program and freezes it when restarting or shutting down. I didn't have this before.

I downloaded the new version, but now when I try to open vmix, it keeps asking for my registration key. I enter my registration key, and nothing really happens. It keeps bringing me to the page to download the new version, but that is already on my computer. What do I need to do to access vmix now?

Hi all,
There is now some preliminary support for Zoom Webinars in vMix as of 27.0.0.64 This required a fair amount of work behind the scenes to optimise for the extremely large number of attendees that these webinars can attract.
There are also a couple of requirements that need to be met in order for it to work:
1. The Webinar must be a standard Zoom Meetings webinar. Events require different login methods and are not currently supported as a result. 2. The Zoom participant must be promoted by the Zoom host to Panelist. vMix will appear to be stuck on "connecting.." until the promotion occurs.
We are interested in feedback on how this functionality works in practise, as it is naturally very hard for us to test meetings with large numbers of participants!
Regards,
Martin vMix

Note that this seems to imply that vMix must be logged in to a Zoom account, and that account be invited as a panelist. At least during my tests vMix, if not logged in, shows "Connecting..." but is not listed at the Host as an attendee in the Zoom meeting. Thus cannot be invited and then promoted to panelist. Side note: Being able to disconnect while in progress, also introduced in 27.0.0.64, works great thanks! /richard

We've just checked and can confirm SetVolume in the API also updates the XML as expected and is working correctly. Note that audio values in different places have different means, you can use the formulas below to convert as needed: https://www.vmix.com/kno...44/vmix-api-audio-levels
