OK I just logged in here (have been on original 17) and saw this PFL !!! Wow - I have wanted this for years! It is o close- Now I have questions after I have used it. Here is what I expect, it may or may not be in here now. It is SOOO close.
1. All of this drives the "headphone" output (Should now be called "Monitor") seems to function
2. When "No Solo" this is audio feed would be "Master" (Should now be called "Program") Not quite right - the Buses ABCDEFG seem to be ALWAYS feeding the Monitor
3. When ANY channel is in SOLO master is off - ONLY the solo is heard. again it seems that the busses are always in this mix
4. Busses ABCDEFG should also have PFL option. Does not seem to be there.
5. Solos should NOT be exclusive. This could be an option. But for TV work I would want a couple of PFL's open. Does not seem to be the case currently.
Don't get me wrong, This is a Huge update for our audio guys, I am so pumped to see this - the hacks we have had to do are complex to try to get this.
Thanks, Steve
PS I hope this is the right place to put this in the new BETA format.

Hi Steve,
Some responses below:
2. Not sure what you mean. The Headphones feed is what you hear when monitoring, Solo overrides this. This is how all audio consoles work (such as X32).
3. Yes, that is correct and how vMix does work. Busses should not in the Headphones mix, make sure you haven't set any of the Settings -> Audio Outputs for the buses to the same device as headphones.
4. We have made changes to the audio workflow slowly over the past few years that has finally allowed input PFL to occur, but this likely won't ever be possible on buses for technical reasons.
5. They are not only exclusive, right click the Solo buttons as per the documentation to add multiple at a time.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Thanks Martin!
I had made changes to routing to test this and the busses were coming through no matter what. (Dante) I did a reboot and all seems to be right now, as you described.
I did not know about right click SOLO. I learn something new every day. :-)
No PFL on Busses - OK not a big isssue - a nice to have.
Is the Solo On / Off via API the right click version? (The PFL Solo already in the API !!! nice.)
Thanks again for the HUGE update!
Steve
