I am trialling the Zoom integration in vmix (great work on V27 BTW!).

My work flow means I want to put the vmix zoom 'caller' in a breakout room. I am able to transfer the vmix 'caller' into the breakout room if I enable auto move in the zoom backend. but the 'record' that vmix is relying on gets broken at that point and the video received in vmix freezes, and we don't currently have a way to restart what is effectively a local record from within vmix.

BTW, using streaming instead of record has the outcome, and Zoom support advise that live streaming is not compatible with breakout rooms at this time.

So does anyone have a work around for this, or are we looking at a feature request for V27 that gives us a button to start the local record once the vmix zoom caller has landed in the breakout room? Also a button to accept the invitation to a break out room would be handy

Just to explore this a little further (and I am not a dev so my observations come from a UI user perspective)

By setting the 'automatically move participants to breakout rooms' setting I am able to successfully move the vmix 'zoom caller' into a breakout room (effectivetly bypassing the 'the host has invited you to' pop-up), but the video and audio streams fail.

I am having best success with this using the 'record' mode in vmix.

If I do this with a 'normal' caller the zoom desktop app stops the record when I move that caller into the breakout room (which is understandable), but I am able to restart a new local record in the breakout room.

Is this effectively not the same process for the vmix caller? we just need to 'press the record button' again once in the breakout room
