We have been streaming to Tik Tok via RTMP from vMix for over a year with no issues until today. Re-generating the Tik Tok key several times did not solve the issue. Streaming to the same account from OBS worked fine.

Any ideas what this error might mean? "Operation not permitted" seems like it might be important...

Update:

Streaming from vMix is now working, with identical settings and no change in hardware or software configuration. I have to conclude that it was a Tik Tok issue, though they claim it must have been vMix's fault.

It's still a mystery to me why OBS worked that day and vMix didn't.
